Mae was born in 1938. She was the daughter of Harry Hall and Lula Stanley. She passed away in 2011. [1]
Mrs. Mae Hall Blackburn of Mulberry St. in Hampton died at her residence Thursday morning February 24th, 2011 after a brief illness.
Born January 28th, 1938 in Hampton County she was the daughter of the late Harry Eugene Hall and Lula Oregon Stanley Hall.
She retired from Falcon Industries in Estill, SC as a Machine Operator and attended the Hampton Church of God.
Surviving besides her husband of the home Franklin Delano Blackburn is: two daughters: Jan B. Johnson and Renee B. Googe and husband Eugene both of Hampton, SC, three sisters: Patsy Nettles and Joyce Ginn of Nixville, SC and Betty Mobley of Hampton, SC, four grandchildren: Derek Johnson, Alex B. Ingalsbe, Kevin and Cody Googe, and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers: Elza Lee Hall and Harry Hall, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Sunday February 27th, 2011 at 3 P.M. in the Spirit of Life Ministries Church in Varnville, SC conducted by the Rev. David Schaffer and the Rev. Kevin Byrd and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home located at 300 Mulberry St. West; Hampton, SC (803-943-3352) on Saturday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. and until 2 P.M. on Sunday when the casket will be placed in the church prior to the service.
