Junius, Feb 26-Mrs. Phoebe Thorne aged 86 years, widow of the late William Thorn, passed away in her home early last Monday morning, February 19th, with apoplexy following an attack of the grip.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Byron Van Fleet of Cortland street, Geneva, and several grandchildren.
The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock from her late home, Rev. C. M. Broughton, pastor of the Tyre Reformed church and Rev. C. N. Platt of the local Presbyterian church, conducting the service. Interment was made in the Southwick cemetery.
