Rufus B. Hall was born in 1849. He was the son of Joseph Hall and Mary Irene Bartlett Hall. He passed away in 1936.[1] Dr. Hall was a physician, and was living in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio in 1880, according to the U. S. Census.[2] He wrote "A Short History of the Hall Ancestors, prepared for the descendants of James Hall, August 20, 1923, Cincinnati, Ohio." It has provided invaluable information that has been incorporated into some of the Hall family pages.
