Biography

Harry's middle name was Ingoldsby or Ingalsbe, probably Ingalsbe, the name used during and after the American Revolution. Harry was a locksmith in Kansas City. Never married. Converted to Catholicism, though he may have not have been very religious. At the time of his death, when the priest spoke to Harry's sister, he mistakenly referred to him as Henry Hill. Or, it could be that his sister Frances had a lively imagination. Harry's burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, Kansas.
