Benjamin was born about the 13 December 1851 in Bardney, Lincolnshire, England. He is the son of William Hall and Martha (Dixon) Gibson .[1]

He married [[Bennett-25256|Fanny Isabella (Bennett) Hall on the 28 September 1873 at St. Mary, Binbrook, Lincoln, England. [2]

Benjamin, with his wife Fanny and son William Emigrated on the 24 September 1874 - Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom to Hawkes Bay, New Zealand Ship “Clarence”. Arrival in Hawkes Bay New Zealand 5 January 1875. Benjamin Hall, age 24, Married, Occupation: Bricklayer, Nationality: Lincolnshire, Record Number: 197. [3]
