DANIEL HALL, b. at Rumford, 13 Jan 1755 son of Ebenezer Hall and Dorcas Abbott;[1] d. at Concord, 18 Feb 1835;[2] m. 26 Sep 1775, DEBORAH DAVIS, b. at Concord, 15 Jul 1757[3] daughter of Robert and Sarah (Walker) Davis;[4] Deborah d. 31 Oct 1822.[5] Daniel m. 2nd 16 Nov 1825, the widow ELIZABETH FELLOWS, b. 1757; Elizabeth d. at Concord, Dec 1831.
Daniel Hall was a farmer in Concord. He served the town as hogreeve and sealer of weights and measures.[6]
On 1 December 1805, Daniel Hall of Concord conveyed two tracts of land in Concord to Joseph Sherburne for payment of $150. On 30 May 1822, Daniel Hall, for love and good will toward his son, conveyed to James Hall two tracts in Concord. On 3 February 1823, Daniel with an unnamed wife relinquishing right of dower, for payment of $600 conveyed additional parcels to James.[7]
In 1830, the household of Daniel Hall was twelve persons at Concord: one male 70 to 79, one female 70 to 79, one male 40 to 49, one female 40 to 49, two males 5 to 9, one male 10 to 14, one male 15 to 19, one male 20 to 29, one female 10 to 14, one female 15 to 19, and one female 20 to 29.[8]
Daniel Hall and Deborah Davis were parents of fourteen children all born at Concord.
