Biography

"Willis Hall was appointed Deacon."[1]

β€œThe Court doth thereupon appoint commissioners from each captain's district in said county, namely: James Griswold, John Kennedy, Hardy Yelverton, Benjamin Aycock, T. T. Simms, Ethelred Sauls, W. H. Gardner, John Everett, Bryant H. Pate, William Carroway, John Becton, and Willis Hall, to prepare a plan for a new Court House..."[2]

"21-140 8 Aug 1848 Willis HALL of Wayne to Henry ROBERTS Jr of Wayne, for $358, 179a both sides of Railroad and both sides of road from Gidding's Place to James KORNEGAY's. Witness: Wm J. HALL, W. EDWARDS."[3]
