* Some genealogies list Elizabeth's birth place as Parrottsville, Cocke Co., Tennessee. Elizabeth and her family did live in Parrottsville (named after the Parrott family) after they left Virginia in (1793-1794). Marriage records indicate that Elizabeth and john were married in Virginia in 1793. Their first child Rachel was born in 1794 in Tennessee. They later made their final move to Ohio.

Note
There are a lot of Elizabeth Halls and much of the information about them is unsourced and incorrectly intertwined.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Hall is a different person who was married to Samuel Hall.
John Parrott appears in the 1850 Federal Census (age 77), but Elizabeth does not.
