William Edward was born in about 1867. He was the son of James Hall and Louisa Groome.^[1]

His father probably passed away before 1901.

UK Census Date 31 Marchy 1901: Living with his mother and five younger siblings in Paul Street, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England. Aged 33.
