Biography

[Bible Records: James R. Hallford was born the 31 day of October AD 1834 in the morning about 2 o'clock.

James R. Hallford & Louisa J. Williamson was Married The 11 day of July AD 1858 About 12 o'clock on Sundy PM at noon.

J.R. Hallford initiate into the FM_?(Mason?) on 25th day of Oct 1873 and passed the 22nd day of Nov 1873. Raised on the 24th day of January 1874.

J. R. & L. J. Hallford were baptized 21st of August 1877 by Samuel Jones in Big Creek at Ebenezar Baptist Church in Walton Co. Florida.

James R. Hallford and Rachel F. Majors were married on the 9th day of November AD 1882.] End of Bible records.

Bonds and Oaths for Office of Justice of the Peace for James R. Hallford 1881, June 11; Bonds sworn and signed by John A. Hughes, David Mott, and W. S. Kervin.

(This writer was told by her Grandfather, Daniel Henry Hallford that his grandfather, James Redden Hallford was called "Jim".

It was also remembered by Oben Hallford that the original tombstone for James Redden Hallford had "Squire" incribed on it.)

(Also, please note, there are several spellings for the name Redden. We do not know the correct one.)
