Biography

Mary arrived on 26 Sep 1839 in Montgomery County, Maryland most likely at the family home at Sandy Spring. She married William S. Brooke about 1861 in Montgomery County.<67> They had two children: Caroline Miller (1862) and Mary Hallowel (1864). Mary died 29 Nov 1864, three months after the birth of daughter Mary and is buried at the Sandy Spring Meeting House. William remarried to Mary P. Coffin on 26 Oct 1871 at the Sandy Spring Meeting House.<68> They had no children. William died 24 Jun 1902 at Rockville, Montgomery County and is buried at the Sandy Spring Meeting House. Mary Coffin died on 26 Feb 1926 location unknown.<69>
