Jane married Elmer Eugene Ellis on the 23 Oct 1844 in Aurelius, Cayuga, New York. To this union were born ten children; Harvey, Abraham, Adolphus, Ella, John, Alexander, Edgar, Evaline, Ernest, Jane and Lillian.

Jane passed away on the 2 Dec 1862 in Vermontville, Eaton, Michigan.^[1]
