Biography

Janet, first daughter of Patrick Haliburton and his first wife Margaret Douglas was born about 1501^[1]

Janet married William, second Lord Ruthven about 1515^[1] and, outliving her husband, died about 1560.^[1]

Title

Janet inherited the title Baroness Ruthven in her own right in 1505^[2]
