Biography

Janet, first daughter of Patrick Haliburton and his first wife Margaret Douglas was born about 1501[1]

Janet married William, second Lord Ruthven about 1515[1] and, outliving her husband, died about 1560.[1]

Title

Janet inherited the title Baroness Ruthven in her own right in 1505[2]

Birth date probably earlier (c.1501) as she was the elder of 3 daughters of Patrick and Margaret died before 10 Feb 1506/7. Scots Peerage Vol IV pg 337
Halyburton-36 and Halyburton-18 appear to represent the same person because: Have same mothers and date of death is the same.
