Biography
Marie Magdelaine Hamel was born on 10 Feb 1779 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Mathieu parish in Beloeil. She was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Hamel and his wife Marie Gipoulou. Godparents at the infant Marie's baptism were Joseph Chabot and Marie Catherine Hamel. At age 18 Marie married François Lambert on 20 Jun 1797 in Saint-Mathieu parish. There are records for four children born to this marriage. She passed away in 1846.
