Raymond Frank Hamilton was the illegitimate offspring of Isaac T Hamilton and an unidentified woman. Unfortunately, I lost the link to the information and have not yet found it. My main reason for following this possibility is the seeming total absence of any other clues to Raymond's birth in NY in 1830. My reasons for skepticism are: 1. the lack of sources, and 2. The given names Raymond and Frank do not appear in Isaac's family line. (Although they might be in the unknown mother's lineage.) I offer this as a clue for other researchers to follow up on and either prove or disprove.
