Biography
When Rose Anna Kelsay was born on October 12, 1829, in Barren, Kentucky, her father, Hugh, was 38, and her mother, Julia, was 35. She married Samuel "Sam" Kelsay and they had five children together. She then married Alexander Hamelton and they had two children together. She died on September 10, 1909, in Ringgold, Texas, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried there.
