Harriet Hamilton was born about 1851 in Wapello Township, Iowa. She is the daughter of Jonathan Hamilton and Harriet Rowe.[1]
Her family was living in Wapello Township in 1860. Mary Ann and Lucinda had married already. Harriet (9) was at home with her parents and 7 siblings.[2]
