Biography

Robert Raque Hamilton was born December 6, 1882,^[1] in White Eyes, (later considered Bakersville) Coshocton Ohio, to Jane Boyd and Thomas Hamilton.^[2] His father was from Northern Ireland.

Robert married Jennie ‘Victoria’ (Mizer) Hammilton on June 3, 1908, in Coshocton Co., Ohio.^[3] They had one child.

1. Eugene Hamilton (1916-1980)

They made their home in White Eyes, Coshocton County, Ohio in 1910, where he was farming.^[4]

He was a farmer, in September 1918, when he registered for the WWI Draft, giving a discription of Married, living at Rt 1, Fresno, Coshocton County, Ohio, 35 yrs old, of Medium height and build, Blue eyes and Brown hair, with no physical disabilities.^[5]

He, Victoria, and their son Eugene were living with his Nephew and family in 1920, in La Moille, Bureau County, Illinois,^[6]

They moved to Lafayette Twp., Coshocton Ohio by 1830, where he was farming on his was driving a Truck for the N W Live Stock Company, and Victoria was taking care of the home and their 13 year old son, Eugene.^[7] They were still living in Lafayette in 1940.^[8]

He died June 1 1960, in Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio, at the age of 78.^[9]
