Mary was the daughter of Robert and Agnes Hamilton - born Jan. 21, 1761 in Armagh, Ireland. She married John Archibald in 1784 at Brookfield, Colchester Co., NS. They had 12 children (see below). She died Sept. 1, 1847 in Brookfield and is buried at Brookfield Cemetery.
