According to ThePeerage.com, citing Burke's Irish Family Records and Burke's Peerage, Baronetage and Knightage as its authority, Robert Hamilton was the son of Hugh Hamilton and his unknown wife. He married Jane Phillips.
Robert Hamilton, of Killyleagh, Ireland, was the father of Ursula Hamilton, wife of John Blackwood.[1].
