Biography
Hants was born to Robert Hamilton and Agnes Ferguson in 1780 or 1790 at Truro Nova Scotia. He married Jane Cottam on Nov. 14, 1811 and had 11 children.
He died 1856 at Upper Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, and the age of 75.
