Victoria was born 1843 in Marshall County, Tennessee. She is the daughter of Dickson Hamilton and Margaret T. Bloodworth. She married Wesley V. McQuigg on September 15, 1863 in Lyon County, Kentucky. He was 25 years her senior. After giving birth to ten children, she died in June of 1879.
