Catherine (Catie) spelled her last name "Rea." was born in County Cork, Ireland to James Ray of same place. She married William "Ray," He was the ancestor of the Rays of Halifax Virginia and Surry County, N.C. I don't know where "Hamilton" comes into the picture especially since the parents are shown as being unknown. Do you know something that I don't that can be verified?
Rea-989 and Hamilton-1689 do not represent the same person because: Catherine Ray (Rea-989) is correct. Catherine Ray's maiden name was "Rae" spelled differently from her husbands, It was not Hamilton.
