Biography
Very little is known of William Hamilton one of the more than 15 children of Rev. James Hamilton and his wife, Catherine (Leslie) Hamilton. It is believed he died in 1729, without descendants, possibly a soldier fighting on the Continent during one of the many local wars in what is now Germany.
