Biography

Lady Maud Evelyn was born in 1850 in St George Hanover Square, London, England.[1]She was the daughter of James Hamilton, 1st Duke of Abercorn and Lady Louisa Jane Russell. She married Henry Charles Keith Petty-FitzMaurice, 5th Marquess of Lansdowne, son of Henry Petty-FitzMaurice, 4th Marquess of Lansdowne and Hon. Emily Jane Mercer-Elphinstone-de Flahault, Lady Nairne, on 8 November 1869 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.[2][3]She died on 21 October 1932 at age 81.[4]She was buried on 25 October 1932 at Derry Hill Church, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England[5]
