In 1870, Jane (HAMMOCK) FRAZEE (age: 33 Years), a young widow, is living in the household of Rebecca HAMMOCK (age: 62 Years). There was a tree on ancestry that stated that Rebecca Jane DANIEL married on 9 April 1858 to John P. HAMMOCK. Documentation of this marriage still needs to be found, but if this is true than it is possible that Rebecca Jane (DANIEL) HAMMOCK was Jane (HAMMOCK) FRAZEE's step mother and this John P. HAMMOCK is her father's child from another wife. This same tree states her mother's name was Ruth PHILLIPS (born: 1806). No documentation was listed in this tree so it can only be used as a clue to further research.
