Biography
Walter Jackson Hammond was born 20 Dec 1872 in Knox County, Missouri. [1], son of George Washington Hammond (1838–1927) and Levinia Jane Cockrum (1849–1938).
In the 1880 census Walter (age 8) lived in Salt River Township, Knox, Missouri. [2]
Walter married Matilda Mae Waite on 18 January 1898 in Shelby, Missouri. [3]
Walter died on 24 October 1907 and was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Shelby, Missouri, United States.[4]
