Biography

Hannah Hammond was born on 22 October 1726 in Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Thomas Hammond and Sarah.[1]

On 22 November 1764 she married John Gilbert. Together they had the following children, see notes[2]

Joseph Gilbert
Benjamin born 17 August 1767 [3]
Molly born 30 Jan 1770 died 23 Jan 1773[4]
Abbie Gilbert
Mary Gilbert
Olive Gilbert

Hannah passed away 14 May 1775 Pomfret, Windham, Connecticut. [5]

Notes

In the Genealogy of the Tucker Family from Various Sources https://archive.org/details/genealogyoftucke00tuck_0/page/38/mode/2up there is a hand written note next to Abbie, Mary and Olives names saying that they belong to Benjamin and Hannah. Ancestry records came from this same book and there’s a entry in Family Search that links to the Ancestry file. I’m unsure as to who wrote this or when. Also Benjamin and Molly aren’t mentioned in the book however there are records for them I thought that it was worth mentioning
