Biography

Thomas Hammond was born in Rochester, Massachusetts, on September 16, 1687, the son of Samuel Hammond and Mary Hathaway. [1]

He married Sarah Spooner in Rochester on April 6, 1721. [2]

He died after 7 Jan 1741/2, when his son Prince was born in Dartmouth.[3] He owned land in Brimfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts in the part that is now Wales, Hampden, Massachusetts and in Dutchess County, New York, but records of his death from either of these places have not been found.[4]
