William Hampton was born about 1740.[1] He lived in Sumter County, South Carolina.[2][3][4][5][6]

Marriage

William Hampton was married to Ann Minter, 10 Feb 1760, Fauquier County, Virginia[7][8]

Children:

William's son Richard died about 1803. William, and Richard's wife Amy, were both executors for son Richard's estate.[9]

Death

William Hampton died about 1805. He died intestate and his probate folder only held a two pages of account receipts by Joseph Sylvester and Mason Spears.[10]
