Biography

Miles was born in 14 March 1861, the son of Albert G. Hamrick and Sarah Ann Lautzenheiser.^[1][2]

Miles's mother Sarah died when he was very young, as his father married Rachel Boroff in 1863. In 1870, we find that Albert and Rachel had children, John, Mary, and Micheal, and that Miles' Uncle Moses Hambrick was living with the family.^[3] By the time of the 1880 census, Rachel had died and Albert had married the widowed Sarah Workinger,^[3] with a new half-brother, Warren.

Miles married Amanda Ann Garwood on 11 April 1886 in Adams County, Indiana.^[2][4] Among their children were:^[5][6]

Miles Hamrick passed away 17 December 1921. He is buried in Willshire Cemetery, Van Wert County, Ohio.^[1]
