Biography

Lucinda was born in 1821. Her parents were John Haney and Sarah Parr.

Lucinda married Fleming Marks Hurn about 1840 based on the age of their oldest child who was 9 in 1850. In 1850, they were living in Limestone County, Alabama, where Feming was a farmer.^[1]

She passed away in 1879 in Alabama. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson, Lauderdale, Alabama.^[2]

NOTE: From Shirley Long: Lucinda E. "Lincey" Haney was born to John Haney and Sarah Parr. Lucinda E. "Linsey" Haney was a sister to my great great grandfather John Thomas "Dick" Haney. She would be my 2nd great grand aunt. She would be the 3rd great grandmother of my husband Jerry Don Long.
