Hi Mark,

The England Project Leaders check-in with the members every six months to see how people are getting on. How are you doing? I notice you've dropped out of the Orphan Trail. Is there a particular reason for this? I'd love to have your feedback.

One requirement for membership in the project is that you contribute to a team at least once every six months. Are you willing to rejoin the Trail or would you prefer to leave the project for now and focus on other things? If you do the latter you'd be most welcome to rejoin later on.

Please respond to me via e-mail.

Many thanks,

Susie, England Project Leader :-)

Good luck with the Orphan Trail, I have done this and it is a good learning curve, and the leaders are great people with a good deal of patience.

Take care Karen

Hello!

The confirmation for WikiTree guest access comes to you as an email, so you may need to check your inbox and spam folder. If you cannot find the email, a new confirmation email can be generated at [[1]].

This is all a process for the WikiTree server to become acquainted with your email server and vice versa so the computers can route the emails properly, so this process is primarily done by the machines with a little help from you. Please let me know if you have any questions about this or anything about WikiTree.  :-)

Karen ~ WikiTree Greeter

PS If you ever get a "Page Not Found" error when you click a link in a WikiTree email, you can usually find a functioning link in the public comments section of your profile page.

Hi Mark,

You left a message stating a problem with John Harvey and parentage being at odds. I don't know where the bio showing Thomas as John's father comes from, Thomas is John's younger brother. I have come across several incorrect dates and name placements during my searches. There are 2 sets of Harvey's and I think that some of the bios are mixing the 2 together. I have come across 3 that had my grandfather married to 4 different women before the age of 12 and not one of them was my grandmother. The 1 bio that had him married twice had him married to his own mother at age 6. So it is all in how much care people take to put in information. I still get confused my self when working with several at one time. Thank you for helping.

Hi Mark,

You left a message on the profile of Mary Polly (Baucom-239) Wimberly that her most likely father was John Baucom Jr (1755 - 1840).

As a Baucom researcher, I'd love to be able to find more documents about John Jr. All sources on John Jr's profile place him in Wake County, North Carolina. Did you find new sources on which this analysis is based?

I look forward to hearing from you,

Debi

Mark you just added parents Arnold and Dorothy to Arthur Warren's profile. This appears to be from https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QP43-CHV6 which I can't view at present. What is the evidence that supports The Arthur of this birth record being the immigrant to New England? Thanks.

Hello,

Please provide source information that proves Enoch Benson (1729-) is the father for Enoch Benson (1756-1840). I have been unable to locate any.

Hi Mark, these may be the same Robert Austin. This is a profile I adopted and only have info for 1 son, Richard by spouse Alice Wheeler. I'll have to do some research on the other children listed on Geni to make sure they have the same mother. Thanks for sending me this source.
Mark, I removed the parents you added for Grace Stevens-359. You changed her birth location and added information about a brother, implying that information was on Find A Grave, but Find A Grave says she was born in Taunton, and says nothing about her parents or a brother. I understand that Find A Grave may not be the best source to use for someone born in the 1600s, but I don't see that you've provided a better source. Do you have more information that needs to be added to her profile?

I think the two Elizabeths were the same, but I agree the Nathaniels are different. I know most people say my Elizabeth's mom was a May, but I don't have proof of that. That came over as merged.
