Biography

Absalom Hanks was born in 1799 or 1800 (his Find A Grave profile states 6 December 1800) in Virginia^[1][2][3] to Thomas and Elizabeth (Ryan) Hanks.^{[3][4][citation needed]}

He married Harriet Climer in 1824 in Ross County.^[3][5]
