Why are there two sons named Jacob Hanks? I thought Jacob was the youngest child and he married Sarah Bruce in Easton in 1753. He moved to Belchertown and died there. Can Hanks-3120 be merged with Hanks-2886????
Is there any possibility that Benjamin is the Benjamin Hanks, son of William, baptised at Hampton Lucy, Warwickshire, England on 13 Mar 1665?
The notes in Genealogical history of Edgar Hanks Evans clearly states "the alleged ancestry of Benjamin Hanks of Pembroke and Easton, Mass., as set forth In these English notes, should not be accepted until it has been verified by further research in English records." I have not been able to find any record in either Stow on the Wold or Donnington that include any names that match either him or his siblings.
