THOMAS HANKS Sr. , born 1536, in the reign of Henry VIII, removed from Malmesbury in 1550 with his sister and brother to Stow-on-the-Wold, Co of Gloucester, where he married and had three children:

1. Henry,
2. Marie and
3. THOMAS Jr.

His grandfather, John Hanks, born 1470 at Buckland, Co Gloucester, England, in the reign of Edward IV of the House of York.

His Father, GEORGE HANKS, son of JOHN, born 1505 in Henry VII Tudor's reign, in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, had three children:.

1. ANN HANKS, b. 1534, Malmesbury, Wiltshire Co. England.
2. THOMAS HANKS, b. 1536, ; d.
