Biography
From Alabama. Family is located in Alabama 1910 & 1920 censuses. There are documents for a John (Henry) Hanks who fits the age range. He appears in Nebraska in 1900, then is not there again until the 1930 and 1940 censuses where he has a wife, Rosey, and some children. If these represent the same person, John had two families. If they are not, then "our" John Hanks may have passed away.[1]
