Biography
"Franklin Buford Hanks was the oldest of nine children born to Rev Thomas Hanks and Nancy Mary(Goad)Hanks. He served as Sheriff of Jackson, Illinois.

Death: 1900 Christian County Missouri, USA
My Family records showed he died on Oct 2, 1899. This is apparently an error as it is the exact death date of his father. Another family member pointed out he was listed in the 1900 Census records of Missouri as a widower, but not the 1910 Census."
