Biography

Margaret Mary Hannan was the daughter of Patrick Hannan and Margaret Moloney/Maloney. She was born in Drumalty Limerick Ireland.^[1]

The family emigrated from Ireland via London on the Carnatic in 1879 ^[2]

When Margaret was 19 years of age she married Denis Daley. Denis died of Influenza and pneumonia. They had 7 children. Margaret then married John Rodgers when she was 41 years. At the time of her death Margaret lived at 336 East Street, Rockhampton. She was 73 years old and had been ill with Cardiac problems.^[3]
