Biography
Abigail was born in 1812. She was the daughter of Daniel Hanscom and Emma Hoyt. She passed away in 1883. [1]
She married Joshua Dwelley in Crawford, Washington, Maine on 12 Feb 1834.[2] Please see Research Notes.
Research Notes
When first entered in the data capture above, the date of marriage was thought to be 21 Apr 1832. With no source available, it's hard to check. Daughter Susan appears to have been born on 14 Nov 1832. This could be due to a previous marriage on the part of either parent, followed by adoption, formal or not. Or the 1834 date is incorrect. Either way, more documented research is needed on this topic.
