Council Bluffs Nonpareil June 28, 1968 Obituary Peter J Hansen Peter J Hansen, 87, 525 Third Street, died Thursday at a local hospital following an illness of several months. Born in Denmark he came to the Minden, Nebraska area when he was five years old. He moved to Council Bluffs during his early boyhood and resided here since. He was a retired steam fitter and a former engineer at Mercy Hospital. Hansen was a member ot the Lutheran church and a 65 year member of the Steam Fitters Union. Survivors include: two sons, Donald J and Fred L, both of Council Bluffs, sister Mrs Annie Christiansen of Minden, Nebraska and Walter of Whittier, California; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
