Services for Agnes "Tess" Everhart Schueler, 92, a retired executive secretary who served in the Navy during World War I[1], was conducted today in Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
The former Agnes Hanson, a native of Newburgh, died Saturday (July 3, 1993)[2] in Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Medina.
A former longtime Niagara Falls resident, she had worked as an executive secretary at the former Olin-Mathieson Chemical Co. in Niagara Falls and had also worked in New Haven, Conn.
She retired in 1965 and moved to Middleport.
She was a member of the Middleport Senior Citizens and attended United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of William Everhart (1900-1944) married June 30, 1923 in Niagara New York[3]..
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Everhart McKee (1931-2003); six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.[4]
