Samuel Hanson, Jr. born December 20, 1716, in Port Tobacco Parish, Charles County, Maryland, married 1) Anne Hawkins, daughter of Thomas Hawkins and wife Sarah, and 2) circa 1774, Anne Brown as her third husband. Anne Brown was the widow of both Samuel Clagett and Robert Horner. Her brother was Dr. Gustavus Brown.[1]
