Biography
Lloyd was the son of Ludwig and Helen (Olson) Hanson, born 15 April 1927 in Sacramento, California. [1] His birth announcement appeared in the Sacramento Bee: "Hanson, In this city, April 15, 1927, to Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig C. Hanson, Route 6, Box 4900, a son."[2]
Lloyd served in the U.S. Army during World War II, PFC US ARMY.[3]
He married Christine Nelson. They were the parents of two daughters.
Lloyd died 18 May 2008 at the age of 81. [4]His remains were buried at the Veterans' Cemetery in Dixon, California. [5]
Lloyd L. Hanson HANSON, Lloyd L. Passed away on May 18, 2008. Born in Sacramento on April 15, 1927, he leaves his wife, two daughters, four stepchildren, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Interment at Vet Cemetery in Dixon, Calif., at 10:00 a.m. on June 6, with memorial at VFW Post 69, 2784 Stockton Blvd.[6]
