Raymond Edward Hanson was born 07 April 1903 in Illinois to father Edward Ebenhart Severson Hanson (1873 – 1960) born in Chicago, Illinois and mother Nellie Matilda Nelson (1875 – 1950) born in Erie, Pennsylvania.

He married Elizabeth Vanderhorst (1908-1994) about 1929 and the family lived in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois until moving to San Bernardino County, California about 1980.

He was employed by the local electrical power utility (ComEd) in the Chicago area.

Together they raised a family of three children, one son Albert Raymond Hanson (1932-1994)and two daughters.

Raymond, age 91, died 15 Jul 1994 in Fontana, San Bernardino, California, USA.
