Biography
Graduated from Jessamine County High School (Nicholasville, Kentucky) in 1988.
Graduated from The George Washington University (Washington, DC) with a BA in International Affairs in 1992.
Lived in Northern Virginia 1992-1999. Worked as a contracts specialist and supervisor at the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington (formerly, Naval Regional Contracting Center) in Building 200 at the Washington Navy Yard during this time.
Graduated from George Mason University with an MA in History in 2001.
Lived in Harrisonburg, Virginia from 1999 to 2003.
Taught social studies at Wilson Memorial High School 2001-2003.
Lived in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic from 2003-2015. During this time, he taught at a boarding school (to 2009), founded non-profits to help victims of prostitution, and (with his wife) rescued or otherwise tried to help nearly 200 dogs.
Graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with an MA in Theological Studies in 2011.
