Biography
This Benjamin Hardin has long been placed in the Staten Island family of Mark Hardin and Madame de Chaumette. There is in fact no evidence of any connection between this Benjamin and the Staten Island Family
In addition, Y-DNA confirms that this Benjamin Hardin is no connection to the Mark Harden (also said to be the son of the Staten Island family with no available evidence) who early appears in Northumberland County, Virginia and was the forbear of the famous Hardin family of Western Virginia and Kentucky.
