The will of George Hardin, gent., of Middlesex, dated Oct. 31, 1733, was proved April 2, 1745; legatees: wife Elizabeth, daughter Mary Herndon, son Thomas and niece Elizabeth Stapleton. Inventory included silver plate, "a parcel of books" and " a parcel of old books".
