Text: == Biography ==Fred was the son of a Master Mariner, Frederick A Harding, and Helena F Harding. His mother's maiden name was also Harding. Fred was a butcher, meat cutter and manager of a meat market. In 1900, he and his family lived in North Brookfield, MA. Sometime between 1900 and 1910, he and Mabel moved to Portland, ME, where they lived until his death. He died{ref: 2489} of edema of the lungs and "dropsy" at the age of 53y 5m 27d.
