Biography
When William Douglas Hargrove was born on October 13, 1861, in Missouri, his father, John, was 35 and his mother, Caroline, was 28. He married Mary/Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" Case in 1886. They had nine children during their marriage. He died on September 26, 1937, in Colorado City, Texas, at the age of 75, and was buried in Mitchell, Texas.
